Leigha Ruffin

Hey CHS 9! As a CISD alumnus and former Lone Star College student, it brings great joy to say that I continued to support local schools by ultimately earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with minors in English and Secondary Education from Sam Houston State University. After four years in the classroom teaching 11th grade American Literature, I earned a Master of Education in School Counseling through Lamar University and joined the counseling profession.

 

I am extremely passionate about guiding young adults as they make important decisions that affect their post-secondary lives and I look forward to assisting students, parents, and teachers with all personal and educational needs. Emile Pereire once said, “It is not enough to outline gigantic programs on paper. I must write my ideas on the earth.” I am a firm believer that brillance has no limits, and I am committed to advocating for and ensure that dreams transform into realities.
